Association Introduction
Finnsafe ry, founded in 1970, is an association of safety, occupational well-being, and workplace environment experts, comprising about 400 members. We aim to contribute to building a stronger culture of work safety and occupational well-being. Additionally, we support the professional development of our members, the safety experts, by offering various events and trainings.
Our operations cover both national and regional levels. Finnsafe is more than just an association; our membership forms an influential network of industry professionals brimming with expertise. Matti Haro's work For the Cause of Safe Work introduces the activities of Työsuojelupäälliköt ry (Finnsafe) from 1970 to 2010. The history begins with the early days of occupational safety and the founding of the association, leading the reader up to the year 2010.
